Visits & Celebrations
We welcome visitors to Nutbourne all year round - it is a wonderful place to explore in the heart of West Sussex, with wildflower meadows, alpacas, lakes, sweeping views of the South Downs and plenty of places to relax and enjoy a glass of Nutbourne wine.
Cellar Door
Visitors are welcome to drop by Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm to explore the vineyard walking trail. Our wines are available by the glass so you can discover our range. Pre-book a platter or picnic to enjoy in the windmill tower or on a bench overlooking the South Downs. Wines are also available by the bottle or case to take away.
Tours & Tastings
Every Saturday from May to September, we offer guided tours around the vineyard and winery, including a tutored tasting.
Prebook to learn about life behind the scenes at a vineyard and winemaking from grape to glass - you might meet alpacas along the way!
Burgers & Bubbly
On evenings throughout the Summer, we open the Nutty Bar with gentle music and a chance to soak in the atmosphere of the vines. Book to join us for “Burgers & Bubbly” from the outdoor kitchen - our own delicious beef cooked in the wood-fired oven and served with our Nutty Wild sparkling.
Small Weddings & Special Occasions
The Gladwins can create very special private daytime events for select occasions in a selection of beautiful rustic setting. We provide wonderful seasonal catering together with delicious wines from the estate and charming hospitality. These can include complete exclusivity for a special celebration or small private wedding.
