Visiting the Vineyard
We welcome visitors to Nutbourne all year round - it is a wonderful place to discover more about English wines in the heart of West Sussex, with wildflower meadows, alpacas, lakes and sweeping views of the South Downs.
Cellar Door
We welcome visitors to Nutbourne all year round. The cellar door shop by the winery is currently open from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm
You can take away a bottle or case of our still and sparkling. Family cookbooks, accessories, wine vouchers, farm produce, eggs and beef are also available to purchase.
Taste the Terroir
In Summer, our range of still and sparkling is available by the glass, by the bottle or in 'flights' of tasting glasses with notes to accompany them, so you can discover the range we produce onsite.
We also serve simple platters for two to share, made with seasonal Sussex produce to complement our wines.
In Winter you can share a bottle or buy wine to take home.
Tours & Tastings
Every Saturday from May to September, we offer guided tours around the vineyard and winery, including a tutored tasting. Private tours for groups are also available.
Prebook to learn about life behind the scenes at a vineyard and winemaking from grape to glass - you might meet our alpacas along the way!
Vineyard Trail
Pick up an illustrated map from the veranda shop and follow our self-guided trail around the vines to discover how we grow grapes and make our wines. Along the way, look out for the vine quiz on information signs, as well as wildflowers and cover crops between the vines, and an ancient oak sculpture.
You can also take in stunning views of the South Downs from the windmill balcony.
In Winter we suggest you bring suitable footwear as it is muddy in the vines.
