Harvest Report 2026

"So, has it been a good year?"

As we wrap up harvest for 2026, we can finally answer the question we’re asked most often at the cellar door. After the late frosts in May and through the heatwaves of the Summer, we would cautiously reply that it was looking good, but you could never be sure until you’d picked the fruit.

Now we safely say that it’s definitely a ‘good year’ at Nutbourne, a fantastic one even, with amazing sugars and phenolic ripeness in the grapes. 2026 will be an amazing English vintage to enjoy in coming years and we can’t wait for you to taste the wines that are currently fermenting in tank and barrel in our winery, including a wonderful red Pinot Noir.
