WineGB Gold for our 2019 Bacchus
Nutbourne is once again delighted to announce success in the WineGB Awards
Our 2019 Bacchus was awarded a Gold medal in the 2021 Awards, judged by Susie Barrie MW, Oz Clarke OBE,
Rebecca Palmer, Helen McGinn, Beth Kelly MW, Hamish Anderson and Simon Field MW.
The tasting note from the judges describes the wine as having:
“Attractive nose of quince and verbena, dry on the palate full of citrus character,
hints of verbena and lemons. A distinctive character and impressive length.
Bacchus we salute you!”
Our 2017 Nutty Vintage Brut also won a Silver medal,
whilst our 2018 Sussex Reserve and 2019 Pinot Noir were awarded Bronze.
The Nutty Brut was an advanced entry as the 2017 vintage will be realised later in the year,
but meanwhile we are continuing to sell the 2016 vintage – a Silver Medal winner in last year’s awards.
If you would like to try our Bacchus for yourself it is available now
for collection from our cellar door or for delivery to mainland UK from our online shop.
