IN AID OF THE CITY HARVEST CHARITY
Food poverty is a huge and growing issue in the UK, with over 5.7 million families skipping meals because they cannot afford to eat. The Gladwin Family are aware that our vineyard, wines and restaurants are for a privileged section of society and we acknowledge our good fortune. Therefore, all royalties from this publication are being donated to an organization called City Harvest.
City Harvest is a charity that rescues food waste and redistributes it to those who really need it through over 375 charities and community projects throughout London. All the food is donated and the charity charges nothing to those who receive it. This work saves surplus food, feeds hungry people and reduces pollution from wastage.
